With Fall and Winter approaching it’s time to start moving your plants indoors! Many of you know that I was a florist for over 10 years and have messaged me several times on how to take care of plants. So I decided to create a video that you can always go back to help grow your own indoor oasis. I focus on 3 types of plants that pretty much covers the 3 ways you can take care of various plants indoors. If you have any specific questions, please comment below. With that being said, I hope you enjoy the video! Please share this video with as many people that you know! Also, share some of your own plant tips in the comments below. Much love and plant on! -CWC
Kalanchoe Plant Care
Step 1:
Select an area with plenty of sunlight and light, sandy soil. Fill in the area around the roots with the soil and pack it down lightly. Alternatively, you can plant kalanchoes outdoors in a planter or container, following the same basic care.
Step 2:
Water the kalanchoe when the soil feels dry, but avoid wetting the leaves. Allow some time between waterings, because too much moisture can cause the roots to rot.
Step 3:
Trim off any dead or wilting flowers at their stems. This provides the plant more room for new buds to flower.
Tip
Kalanchoe plants grown in pots indoors require the same basic care as outdoor plants. When growing kalanchoes in containers, you can help them produce more buds and flowers by giving them 8 to 10 hours of sunlight per day.
