Curry Chicken


5 lbs of chicken (Season chicken with garlic salt, season salt, basil, parsley,  1 tbsp of curry powder) —this needs to marinate for 1-2 hours
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1  cup of chopped onions
1 cup of chopped celery
1 cup of baby carrots
1 large potato cut into small squares
2 tablespoons of curry powder
1 tablespoon of chili pepper flakes (optional)
16 oz of water
Fresh basil


1. Turn the temp to medium and place the oil in the pot.
2. Add the onions and celery. Cook it until the onions are translucent.
3. Add in the chicken. Place on the pot cover and cook for 10 minutes while stirring occasionally.
4. Then add in the carrots, potatoes, curry powder, fresh basil, chili pepper flakes, and the water. Place on the pot cover and cook for another 40 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve.
