We have one more Vegan recipe to share with all of you! My Director Sergio will be making his family’s Michelada recipe! Let’s just say that Jerry will be lit afterwards! This is truly a Thirsty Thursday!
The Rivera Family’s Ancient Vegan Michelada Recipe
Lime juice for rim
Tajin or favorite chili powder
1/3 cup of ice
3-4 drops of your favorite hot sauce
Half a lime
1/4 cup of tomato juice
Mexican beer (as much as you like)
Green olives for décor
Tamarindo candy straw
1 stalk of celery
•Rim the cup with lemon juice
•Add tajin to a plate until completely covered and then dip cup upside down.
•Add 1/3 cup of ice
•Add 3-4 drops of your favorite hot Mexican sauce
•Squeeze half a lime or more if desired
•Add 1/3 cup of tomato juice cocktail
•Add your favorite Mexican beer slowly to avoid foaming.
•Sprinkle more tajin on top and mix the cocktail.
*Add more of any ingredient as needed
For garnish: Add green olives to a toothpick and pierce through a celery stick for a convenient stirrer that also makes for a healthy snack.
